Welcome, our association was developed to preserve the
historic tradition of Isshinryu Karate from Okinawa. We
want to insure that the highest standards of the martial
arts are maintained within our group. We are united
schools and Karate-Ka from across the nation, under
strong leadership, dedicated to promote knowledge and
growth in the art of Karate.

This video has been professionally re-mastered from the
original tapes. The Kata was filmed at Hanchi Steve
Armstrong’s Dojo in Tacoma, WA. K.I.A.I. now owns all the
tapes and present Seisan here for the historical benefit of
Isshinryu Karate. Grand Master Shimabuku continued to
develop his art until the day he died, here we see a snapshot
of his art from 1966.
